/// Floating Interfaces ///
An extract from Samuel Beckett's "Krapp's last tape",
stolen images from anonymous archives, a computer
voice reading an html page and its content. These are
all materials that have given a shape to Floating Points.
The basic idea has been melting them into a live
performance and a theatrical text lecture, in order to
compose a kind of documentary based on a live mixing
of short video clips keeping as a main trace the audio
token from the lecture. The monologue, told by Krapp,
seems to be also a guide through the running images.
Next to him, we're going to cross a path that will lead
us inside a view of a contemporary behaviour.
Trusting and using our technologies, everyday, trough
symbols and signs we collect pieces of memory inside
our computers, mobile devices, interfaces.. depositing,
leaving, forgetting bits of ourselves in an
universe made of object.
Where the real communication is standing?
Where our memories are going to?
